Ta-dah! Welcome to the new website. A *very* work-in-progress website and blog. I’ve been meaning to try and update my website away from square-space to something more blog focused.

• I really want to make time for more freebies! I have loved seeing the few people that printed off my “Ask a Caregiver for Help” poster and hope to get a few more out soon. I grew-up obbessed with sites like Suta-Ratio run by kuitsuku that had free clip art of various shows and games. Somewhere in the back of my mind has been a dream to set-up free art and icons for furries to use but uhhhh I do not have a lot of free time. I did however finally get together all my ownerless art that you can use and dumped it on the resource page. It’s a start. If you have anything you’d like to see for that let me know!
• I’m slowly going through my archives to create a comprehensive gallery page. There are a lot of silly sketches that have lived on my computer for years and I’d like to get EVERYTHING documented and online. The recent issues with fur-affinity made me want my own space. It is very work-in-progress because there is a lot of art to go through. Hopefully I can even get some of my old sketchbooks recorded.

• Lastly and more importantly I wanted to set-up my blog. I don’t love the telegram update channel model a lot of artists have. My own telegram messages get really bogged down by them. I will try and post updates here and see if I can get e-mail subscriptions working. Also I miss sharing more of my life! I used to post lots on Twitter but then so many people started following me…. it got very scary >m< I do post life update on FA, but again, I wanted to set something up more under my control.

I’m not sure how far I’m going to get with any of this. Truth be told I have very, very little free time. Like on the scale of a few hours a week. I haven’t been doing well mentally. These last few years have been rough on me and I’ve been especially struggling this summer. I need to figure out some kind of better outlet. On the flipside I feel ready to take commissions again, I feel like the furry community is finally escaping a dying Twitter, I will likely get to go to an in person convention next year. (Maybe even two if I can make a day at Anthro New England work!!)

Slowly as I figure out the WordPress.com editor better this site will improve. I wish I had the energy to run my own dang website code but I never found a good way to push updates like blog posts without needing to make a code commit every time which was super annoying. This is also annoying, but livable. We’ll see how long until I break down and either pay for the ability to add my own CSS or figure out how to run my own WordPress server haha.
